City Theatrical Preview for First Cine Gear New York Expo 2023 City Theatrical will be demonstrating new technology for the film and video industry at Table 236 at the first ever Cine Gear New York Expo at Industry City in Brooklyn, New York from March 10 - 11, 2023. One lucky City Theatrical visitor at the show will be selected at random to receive a free DMXcat Multi Function Test Tool, which is a troubleshooting tool designed for use by lighting professionals involved with the planning, installation, operation, or maintenance of studio lighting equipment. City Theatrical will be demonstrating QolorFLEX LED Tape and Accessories, including the newest type of QolorFLEX NuNeon, QolorFLEX NuNeon, Tunable White HiQ High CRI (P/N N914-H27006500-5), which brings the brightness and flexibility of QolorFLEX NuNeon linear lighting to the film and video world by combining it with City Theatrical's HiQ High CRI LED Tape technology. City Theatrical will also demonstrate four other QolorFLEX HiQ High CRI LED Tapes designed for film and video projects, which range from color temperatures that include 3200K, 6,000K, and 2,700K to 6,500K in a single chip, as well as recently launched QolorFLEX 5-in-1 HiQ High CRI LED Tape (P/N 5050-24-RGBH27006500-60-5-20-1), which is a 5-in-1 24V LED Tape with a CRI greater than 95 and is 25% brighter light than other 5-in-1 LED tapes for the needs of film and video projects. City Theatrical demonstrations at Cine Gear New York Expo will also include award-winning Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM technology. Multiverse marks the fifth generation of City Theatrical's engineering development for wireless DMX technology. The Multiverse system can deliver more data while reducing the amount of radio energy required for wireless DMX by as much as 90%, enabling scalability never possible before in the film industry. The Multiverse Studio Receiver brings the advanced features of the Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM system to the film and video world with fast setup and reliability. It contains a long-life lithium-ion polymer battery giving 20 hours of use, and its full four button user interface with a backlit LED display makes setup easy and gives feedback on system performance. Each Multiverse Studio Receiver includes a DMX corded connector, which allows the external antenna to hang below the lighting fixture, giving improved data fidelity. The Multiverse Studio Receiver 900MHz/2.4GHz (P/N 5904) has two built-in radios, 2.4GHz (for worldwide use) and 900MHz (for use in the Americas only), which allow the user to select which single universe to receive, and which radio band to use via the Multiverse SHoW ID. The Multiverse Studio Kit provides all the tools lighting technicians need to quickly plan, setup, and operate wireless DMX/RDM on set, the company says, all within an easy to use kit with contactless charging. Each Multiverse Studio Kit includes: six Multiverse Studio Receivers, one Multiverse Transmitter with hanging bracket and clamp (for multi universe broadcasts), one Multiverse Node with hanging bracket and clamp (for single universe broadcasts), one DMXcat Multi-Function Test Tool (to turn on and troubleshoot any lighting fixture on set), one RadioScan Spectrum Analyzer (for broadcast planning), and various accessories to keep your equipment organized, mounted, and charged. The Multiverse Studio Add On Kit was developed to provide an easy way for film & video professionals to scale up wireless DMX projects. This kit features six Multiverse Studio Receivers in a contactless charging case. Individual chargers and USB cables are also included to enable charging or powering individual units outside the case.
