COVID-19 Update: Long Reach Long Riders Postpone 2020 Annual Charity Ride In light of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, The Long Reach Long Riders (LRLR) leadership, in consultation with the 2020 ride marshals Paul and Peggy Sannerud, have decided that this year's Long Reach Long Riders charity ride shall be postponed until 2021. The current plan is to ride the same route that was originally planned for 2020. Plans are being developed for an alternate ride for 2020 which will potentially involve a relay from west coast to east coast. The relay concept will call for short one-to two-day rides for individuals or small groups. It's currently planned to start on the west coast and finish in Maine. The start date for the relay ride is tentatively scheduled for June 20. Please stay tuned to the LRLR Facebook page and the LRLR website lrlr.org for more information as it becomes available. The LRLR wish to thank their sponsors for their support over the years and we look forward to continuing with the full ride next year. In the meantime, please stay safe. Wash your hands and practice social distancing while on and off your motorcycle.
