Elation Offers High Output LED-based Satura Spot CMY

Elation Professional announces the next in the energy-efficient Satura Series, the LED-based Satura Spot CMY, a high-powered LED spot luminaire with zoom, CMY color mixing, and dual gobo wheels.

The Satura Spot CMY's 320W LED engine delivers 11,700 lumens of power for an output across all colors that is comparable to 575W and even 700W discharge fixtures. It projects the flat field of light that designers favor with sharp zoom optics that emit a powerful, well-defined beam. For flexible beam angle adjustments, the Satura Spot CMY houses a 14- to 36-degree zoom with a uniform field of light that is maintained throughout the zoom range.

A CMY color mixing system plus seven dichroic colors for added color customization, including CTO color correction, blends a virtually unlimited variety of shades. A range of graphical effects is possible via two gobo wheels, one with six rotating interchangeable gobos and the other with seven static gobos.

Beam projections and effects can be softened using the frost filter and further manipulation is possible via focus adjustment, iris, and strobe. A three-facet rotating prism adds unique effects to gobo projections. The fixture offers full 0-100% electronic dimming and a selection of variable dimming curves makes for easy intensity adjustments.

The Satura Spot CMY is naturally DMX controllable offering 22-, 24-, and 33-channel DMX modes. It is also RDM ready for bi-directional communication over the DMX cable. Other standards include three- and five-pin DMX in/out and powerCON connections, as well as a six-button touch control panel with full-color reversible menu display that makes navigation through DMX and manual settings a breeze.

Built to endure the trials of life on the road or years of service in a permanent installation, the Satura Spot CMY's modular construction makes for easier serviceability while silent movement means it can be used in noise sensitive environments. And a multi-voltage universal auto-switching power supply allows it to operate anywhere in the world.

The Satura Spot CMY offers all the benefits of LED -- like greater reliability and increased energy efficiency for a lower cost of ownership and with a long LED life rating of 50,000 hours, service intervals are few and far between.
