ADJ to Showcase Latest Innovations to the AV and Integrated Systems Industry at InfoComm 2018Next month the pro-AV industry will converge on Las Vegas for the 2018 InfoComm trade show. Billed as "the audiovisual and integrated experience event," the three-day show will bring together 1,000 exhibitors, demonstrating thousands of products, to 44,000 attendees from 110 countries, and ADJ will be there in force. From a large booth located in the Event Production Pavilion, right at the heart of the show, the ADJ team will showcase a variety of exciting and innovative professional lighting, video, and effects products at booth C3428, June 6 - 8 in Las Vegas. Taking center stage at the booth will be ADJ's brand new video panel range, the Design Series, which provides a whole new dimension in video to production designers, systems integrators, and AV installers. This system comprises four modular panels of different shapes that can be combined together to create video screens of almost any conceivable shape. The DS4 (square), DS4T (triangle), DS4QC (quarter circle), and DS4RA (rectangle) can be easily linked together, rigged, and transported using an expansive collection of accessories, allowing unique and eye-catching screen configurations of any size to be created for fixed installations and touring productions. Whether used to spell out a brand name in video panels for a corporate event or to integrate video more seamlessly into a church installation, or a one-of-a-kind nightclub install, the possible uses for the Design Series truly are limitless. ADJ's Vizi Series of moving head lighting fixtures covers the whole gamut from affordable and compact, to powerful and fully-featured, offering something suitable for every type of event or installation. At InfoComm, the focus will be on the four hybrid units in the range, which combine the three functions of a beam, spot, and wash into one versatile fixture. Ideal for use in churches, nightclubs, theatres, and concert venues -- as well as for one-off events and touring productions -- hybrid moving heads offer a cost saving over the use of three separate fixture types as well as a reduction in electricity consumption and required rigging, trucking, and storage space. Utilizing a potent and efficient 330W Philips Platinum 16R lamp, the ADJ Vizi Hybrid 16RX is a powerful and feature-packed moving head that is ideal for use in large venues. If offers 14 colors plus white, two separate gobo wheels (one with replaceable slots), two rotating prisms (six-facet linear and eight-facet circular), as well as motorized focus, zoom, and shutter functions, making it a flexible lighting tool. Building on this impressive combination of light output and beam shaping features, ADJ's brand new Vizi CMY 16RX offers the same light source and features with the significant addition of full CMY (cyan, magenta, and yellow) color mixing, which gives designers the creative freedom to select from a vast pallet of potential colors. The Vizi Series also offers the option of hybrid fixtures fitted with modern LED light sources, with the associated benefits of long operating life, low power consumption, and reduced excess heat. The Vizi BSW 300 uses a specially-designed 300W LED engine to generate a level of brightness previously unobtainable from an LED-powered fixture. It also offers two independent color wheels, two rotating six-facet prisms (circular and linear), motorized focus and two gobo wheels (one with rotating replaceable slots and the other incorporating three beam reducing apertures), allowing it to be used to create a wide variety of lighting effects. Finally, the Vizi CMY300 features the same potent 300W LED light source but with the added benefit of full CMY color mixing. Launched at the recent Prolight + Sound exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, ADJ's new range of weather resistant LED Par fixtures will be demonstrated for the first time in the USA at InfoComm ahead of their release later in June. The 7P HEX IP, 12P HEX IP, and 18P HEX IP all feature a distinctive metallic casing design with an IP65 rating, making them suitable for use both indoors and outdoors regardless of the weather conditions. Offering a beam angle of 30-degrees, each of these fixtures utilizes an arrangement of powerful 12W six-in-one HEX (red, green, blue, amber, white, and UV) LEDs to provide lighting designers, integrators, and installers with a huge palette of colors including UV-infused hot pink, lime green, and electric blue. All three units are equipped with powerCON True1 input and output sockets as well as IP-rated three-pin DMX input and output sockets fitted with waterproof rubber caps. This means that IP-rated power and DMX linking cables can be used for outdoor applications, however standard XLR and powerCON cables can also be utilized if the fixtures are used indoors. "InfoComm is an exciting and vibrant trade show that brings together professionals from a wide variety of disciplines looking for the latest AV-related innovation," comments ADJ USA's national sales manager, Alfred Gonzales. "ADJ will be demonstrating a range of our new lighting, video, and effects products that are suitable for fixed installations as well as touring and one-off events of all sizes. Be it the creative potential of the unique Design Series video panels, the flexibility of the Vizi Series hybrid moving heads, or the all-weather casing of the HEX IP Pars, I know that visitors to the show will all find something of interest at the ADJ booth." InfoComm 2018 will take place June 6 thru 8, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The ADJ booth -- C3428 -- will showcase the company's latest technology and also provide an opportunity for visitors to the show to meet ADJ's knowledgeable team and receive detailed product information as well as more general advice on the best equipment for a particular situation.
