Lightware USA Adds Four New Hires to Sales and Technical StaffLightware USA, the US distributor for Lightware Visual Engineering products, has announced four new hires, Chris Auger, Olya Luke, Brad Spurgeon, and Jim Kosmerick, to support the company's continued growth. The new employees fill sales, marketing, and technical roles at the rapidly expanding firm. "Lightware USA is proud to add valued support for its customers and partners by growing its capabilities and outreach," says Drew Taylor, Lightware USA's director of sales and applications. Auger joins Lightware USA as regional sales executive/central US. For the past five years he served as inspection manager and in sales, marketing, and training posts at Crane Technologies Group Inc., manufacturer of custom-engineered cranes. Earlier, he was a curriculum developer for Teaching-Robots.Org, a robotics camp for middle school students. Auger is a graduate of Rochester College. Luke comes on board as regional sales executive/western US. A graduate in civil engineering at the University of Belgrade, Luke most recently was an account executive with Toshiba in Chandler, Arizona. Previously, she spent eight years with Avnet Technology Solutions in Tempe, Arizona where she was program manager of Cisco SAP HANA and business development manager and account manager of NetApp. Luke won numerous sales contests during her tenure at Avnet. Spurgeon is Lightware USA's new technical support specialist. Spurgeon has been working as a freelance media producer and technical advisor. He was also the technical support/operator for Sonitrol of Evansville where he provided Tier 2 support assisting field technicians with troubleshooting issues, setting up network-attached storage devices, and testing and repairing equipment. Prior to that, he was a master control operator at WEHT Channel 25 in Henderson, Kentucky and a senior product designer at Anna Maria Design in Christchurch, New Zealand. Kosmerick comes to Lightware USA as the new director of marketing. Kosmerick, who has over 17 years of marketing experience, will lead the company's marketing strategy and implementation efforts including advertising, promotions, public relations, digital and social media strategy, marketing partnerships, and companywide branding initiatives. Additionally, Kosmerick will oversee the monitoring of KPI's, digital trends and marketing analytics. In his career, Kosmerick has developed award winning marketing initiatives centered on driving creative strategy for businesses in healthcare, transportation, software, package goods, automotive, and trade associations. Kosmerick holds a bachelor of applied arts degree in design and marketing from Central Michigan University and spends a bulk of his spare time volunteering for local initiatives including as an outside evaluator for CMU's Graphic Design Capstone Project. Kosmerick is also involved with the nonprofit Designers Without Borders organization, Design-Altruism-Project, and is a member of the Social Media Association of Michigan.
