LumenRadio to Launch Tiny CRMX TiMo at PLASA London Show 2014Building on the success of CRMXchip, one of the world's smallest wireless DMX receivers, LumenRadio continues it's innovation with the launch of CRMX TiMo -- a new generation wireless RDM module designed for high volume manufacture -- at the upcoming PLASA London show running October 5 - 8 at ExCeL London. The company says the CRMX TiMo is small on form factor, but huge on functionality -- featuring all of the same capabilities as the full sized CRMX OEM RDM modules in a package just 33.5mm x 18.5mm. Niclas Norlén, CTO at LumenRadio explains, "We are extremely proud of TiMo and also to announce that we are the first wireless DMX supplier that fully compliant with the ETSI EN 300 328 (v1.8.1) '2015' revision. TiMo is fully FCC part 15 certified with a modular approval to 300mW -- the highest allowed output power of any manufacturer within the entertainment industry. I believe we will revolutionize the industry for the second time this year." One interesting feature for TiMo is that manufacturers are able to set TiMo up with a binding UID that links TiMo to their fixtures RDM UID. This means that controller software, such as SuperNova, can display the fixture as a single entity with the wireless features tightly integrated into the RDM controls of the fixture itself. The company says no other wireless module offers such tight integration into fixture designs. Check out CRMX TiMo together with CRMXchip and the rest of LumenRadio's product range on their booth, S25 at PLASA London. LumenRadio's staff will also be on hand to demonstrate the PLASA 2013 Innovation Award winning SuperNova 3 software.
