Winly Joins Adamson Network

Adamson's David Dohrmann with the Winly sound team during their three-day training session.

Taiwan-based sound company Winly Production Services Int'l Corp. has taken delivery of an Adamson E-series PA, making them the first Taiwanese company to join the Adamson network. The announcement was made by David Dohrmann, technical director, Asia Pacific for Adamson.

"As one of the older sound companies in Taiwan, Winly has an exceptional reputation and the experience to grow the Adamson brand in the area," explains Dohrmann. "We are thrilled to have a company of their caliber working with our organization and see a very bright future with Winly."

Initially the rental company added 24 E12 line array modules and 16 E219 subwoofers, powered by Adamson E-Racks loaded with Lab.gruppen PLM20k44 amplifiers. After extensive testing they decided to expand their Adamson inventory further.

"They are adding E15, S10, and E119 cabinets which should be delivered and in use by September," adds Dohrmann. "The company works closely with the Taipei Arena and anticipates utilizing the new Adamson system often during the upcoming season."

Dohrmann provided the Winly team with an extensive three-day training session that covered sound reinforcement theory, rigging, Adamson's Blueprint AV software, and Lake processing.

"We look forward to using the Adamson system at the Arena this year," adds Andy Chen, Winly. "The new PA has tremendous sonic qualities and enough headroom for any show. It is going to set new standards in the region."
