EXPO-SCENE 2025 to Take Place April 16 and 17The 11th edition of Canada's premier entertainment technology trade show returns to Montreal to showcase the latest in pro audio, sound, lighting, and stage technology. EXPO-SCENE 2025, taking place on April 16 and 17, will be an opportunity for entertainment industry professionals to discover products, network, and expand their knowledge base. Created in 2015 by the Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology/Institut canadien des technologies scenographiques (CITT/ICTS), EXPO-SCENE has grown over the years, attracting over 10,000 attendees and more than 500 exhibitors. Celebrating its tenth anniversary last year, the 2024 edition saw a 20% increase in attendance, welcomed a host of new exhibitors. "I attended my first EXPO-SCENE in April 2024, and I was truly impressed by the calibre of exhibitors and attendees. This event is vital not only to CITT/ICTS and its members, but also to the Canadian entertainment technology market and live events industry. EXPO-SCENE provides Canadians access to the latest technologies in the entertainment industry within their own borders, while showcasing outstanding Canadian companies alongside leading North American and European brands. I look forward to the 2025 edition, which is shaping up to be one of the best yet, thanks to a sold-out expo floor, and the return of pre-show training and exclusive demo rooms. I encourage everyone to attend," says Jacquie Lazar, executive director of CITT/ICTS. EXPO-SCENE is known for its wide range of exhibitors featuring established and emerging brands. Attendees can expect demonstrations and exhibits from companies specializing in pro audio, lighting, video, system integration, rigging, staging, special effects, business solutions, and more. For this next edition CITT/ICTS welcomes many global brands such as Robe Lighting, ACT Entertainment, ETC, LG Electronics and Vectorworks, alongside leading Canadian companies such as Contact Distribution, 3Dot Technologies, and DataVisual Marketing, and major Quebec companies such as Theatrixx Technologies, CR34TE, Softbox Integration, UNISSON, and THERIO Innovation. EXPO-SCENE 2025 will once again provide access to expert knowledge and hands-on experiences for both seasoned professionals and emerging talent. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in live demonstrations from leading manufacturers such as SFM, AVL Media, and d&b audiotechnik, all of whom will provide exclusive demo rooms to explore their latest products. Additionally, attendees can kick things off with pre-show training on April 15 and 16, with sessions such as the Ion XE console training hosted by ETC, and an event safety forum hosted by Event Safety Alliance Canada. Attendees can also check out the free TEC Talks on the show floor, where the latest trends and best practices will be discussed. The city of Montreal, QC, Canada, is a vibrant, multicultural city full of art and technology. Attendees of EXPO-SCENE can explore the charm of the venue's neighbourhood, Old Montreal, or the vibrant Quartier des spectacles, located just a few blocks from the venue, and experience what the city has to offer.
