ADB Exhibits New LED Technologies at LDI and Wins Prestigious LDI Award ADB presented its range of Lexpert (profile - Fresnel - emphasy) white light theatre lights at LDI 2018 earlier this month, along with its Klemantis and Oksalis units, based on the latest HCR technology, which offers a CRI and light and color quality never achieved before by lights with LED sources. The Art Centric Lighting line, created by ADB to illuminate works of art, won the coveted LDI award in the Lighting category. ADB won the prestigious LDI Award for the Best Debuting Product in the lighting fixture category, with its new Art Centric Lighting line for museum lighting. The judges wrote: "Art Centric Lighting has created a tunable white light fixture for lighting works of fine art with sensitivity and class. The spot or wash with a CRI of 97 is controllable via Bluetooth, changing the way you'll look at works of art." Simone Capeleto, ADB's CEO, was thrilled: "The basic principle of Art Centric Lighting is to respect the works of art, which become leading players like actors on a stage. It is no coincidence that the small Art Centric Lighting units are true miniaturized theatre lights: they are made by ADB, a well established company in the theatre world. Lexpert family: The Lexpert family is a range of LED units featuring advanced digital technology and extremely high quality light. The Lexpert fixtures are designed for those who appreciate the advantages of LEDs, but still prefer white light sources: a step towards the future, but with respect for the ways of those who have to use them. The Lexpert Profile Spot and Fresnel lights feature white-LED solutions for replacing 1KW halogen lamps. The series includes the compact and versatile Lexpert Emphasy. Lexpert units are guaranteed by Osram and ADB's long experience in the lighting industry. They provide excellent value for money. Oksalis: The Oksalis is a static LED washlight which gives the user total control over the quality of all forms of white and colored light. The Oksalis washlight is based on HCR (High Color Rendering) technology, a LED light module consisting of six chips, each one devoted to a different color: amber, cyan, and lime have been added to the three classic basic red, green, and blue colors. The Oksalis and Klemantis share the same light technology. Together they form a product line able to provide a very wide color range with an extraordinary color spectrum coverage, and different shapes and light distributions. The Klemantis were also among the stars of the show. Deliveries have started, and these luminaires were at work on the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest, the most important television music show in the world! The extensions to the Klemantis family were presented to LDI: the more compact 500mm version (Klemantis AS500) and the new symmetrical optical units available as accessories.
