1 SOUND announced the SUB28, the company's "banquet sub" at ISE Barcelona. Members of the company's product-development team say it was inspired by interior designers' and architects' specifications on banquets.

The SUB28 is a low-profile bass enclosure with a high SPL incorporating two front-loaded 8" woofers. In addition to offering low end down to 45Hz, it is said to provide a precise, rapid transient response, for deep, punchy bass sound. It stands less than 8" tall, allowing it to be positioned underneath, inside, or between furniture. Eight M8 rigging points, four on each of two sides, and an optional hanging kit allow it to be flown in two different orientations, parallel to a wall or ceiling. It was designed and tested to not jump or move when playing at higher volumes. The recessed input and link output connectors on two corners permit clean cable management, so the subwoofer can be positioned flush against a wall. The SUB28, like all 1 SOUND loudspeakers, is available in various colors and finishes with a short turnaround time and is IP55-rated and saltwater-resistant for outdoor environments.
