Fishman Appoints Iain Wilson as International Sales ManagerFishman announces the appointment of Iain Wilson as international sales manager. In this capacity, Wilson's primary role will be the development of strategies to increase sales in each of Fishman's current export markets while seeking new business opportunities for the company. Wilson will also be managing the existing distribution network, carrying out a SWOT analysis of the distribution companies and their respective markets, and looking at constructive and effective ways to increase sales in each region. In addition, Wilson will oversee Fishman's international clinic tours, workshops, sponsorships, and other marketing events with the help of Fishman demo artist and clinician Steve Fairclough. He will also work with distributors in each market to maximize exposure in consumer and trade publications. Wilson has been in the music industry for the past 20 years and has gained vast international experience with companies such as Lowden Guitars, Breedlove, G7th capos, etc. He has also worked for Fishman in various international sales roles since March 2003. For the last six years he has spearheaded Fishman's OEM business in Asia and is now returning to the role where he began 10 years ago, taking care of international retail sales. "It's great to combine my knowledge of guitar brands, markets, and international sales. I'm looking forward to driving Fishman's international business again and with the release of new electric guitar products, there's a lot of work to be done," says Wilson.
