Burst Appoints Steven Fitzgerald VP SalesBurst, a full service, professional sound and lighting company based in Detroit, has named Steven Fitzgerald to the newly created position of vice president of sales. The announcement was made by Scott Ciungan, owner of Burst. "For more than 20 years Steve has worked his way up from the trenches learning everything one needs to know to put on a successful event," says Ciungan. "His experience with lighting and audio will be invaluable to our existing and future customers. I'm excited to have him on board." Fitzgerald received a degree in technical theatre from the University Of California and has certifications in lighting, rigging, and OSHA. Prior to joining Burst, Fitzgerald held a variety of positions in the industry and has worked with such notable acts as Guns N' Roses, U2, Jurassic 5, and Duran Duran. His most recent position was with DPS Inc, a full service production house located in Burbank, California. "Burst is an exciting company that is experiencing tremendous growth," says Fitzgerald. "It's a privilege to join an organization teaming with opportunity. I've already got my feet wet -- it should be an amazing year."
