The Cutting Room Welcomes the Drunk Unkles for Mayhem in Manhattan

The NSCA Education Foundation announces the Drunk Unkles next performance. Dubbed "Mayhem in Manhattan," the gig will be held on Thursday, October 29, at The Cutting Room in New York City. Doors open at 6:00pm and the band takes the stage at 7:00pm.

The foundation says this hallmark event is particularly exciting as it has been set up to enable professionals from all aspects of the industry to step into first time or repeat sponsorship for the band and the show.

Using the advanced ticket sales option on The Cutting Room website (http://ticketf.ly/1JSv4s1), anyone who purchases 10 or more tickets will be considered and listed as an event sponsor. Up to 30 tickets can be purchased at any one time. Advanced tickets are priced at $20 if purchased on the website prior to the gig or $25 at the door. All proceeds will go to the NSCA Education Foundation to help fuel much needed initiatives that strengthen best practices within the systems integration industry.

Chuck Wilson, NSCA's Education Foundation Director comments: "The Cutting Room gig will enable a whole new group of professionals to make their mark as a sponsor for the Drunk Unkles' event. This will allow integrators, dealers, manufacturers, consultants, and other industry professionals to be recognized for their support of the foundation through their support of the band." Many of the sponsors already participating for this event are handing out event tickets to their clients and colleagues and promoting the event.

The Cutting Room, one of New York's most iconic live music venues is located at 44 East 32nd Street and packs a full musical calendar year round.

The Drunk Unkles' performance will coincide with the opening of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) event taking place October 29 - November 1, 2015 at the Jacob Javits Center and will bring together the world's largest gathering of audio professionals.

During this convention, AES attendees will be offered opportunities to hear from top audio industry figures while sharing in the latest research and technology information through informative papers, tutorials, workshops, and special events. The Drunk Unkles will add to the AES show's line up of post-show activities and promises to be an outstanding night of music and industry networking.

Tickets for the event can be pre-ordered on the Cutting Room website at http://ticketf.ly/1JSv4s1 or purchased individually at the door on the day of the event.

The Drunk Unkles began more than 10 years ago as a casual hobby. They performed their first charity fundraising event to help support the family of an industry peer who unexpectedly lost his life. The members of the Drunk Unkles and their supporting sponsor companies include: Felix Robinson from AVI-SPL, Mike Sinclair from Audio Incorporated, Mike Phillips from BMG Hudson, John Cardone from Cardone Solomon & Associates, Marc Hochlerin from Longman Lindsey, "Aunt" Lisa Wenger (www.lisawenger.com), and Steve Emspak from Shen Milsom & Wilke.

Drunk Unkles' resident Unkle, Steve Emspak, partner at Shen Milsom & Wilke, states, "All of our events are the result of the work and stewardship of many AV professionals from leading industry companies. We are tremendously appreciative to have the opportunity to play out in support of the foundation."
