Zylight Demonstrates "Silent" F8-300 LED Fresnel at NAB 2016Zylight, a manufacturer of innovative LED lighting solutions, will demonstrate its new "silent" F8-300 LED Fresnel at the 2016 NAB Show in booth 5049, which runs April 18 - 21 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Designed with passive cooling instead of an internal fan, the AC-powered F8-300 is brighter than a 575W HMI Fresnel or a 2K tungsten fixture, but only draws 300W of power. "Our new F8-300 combines the best features of our F8 platform with a fan-less, silent chassis," explained Joe Arnao, president of Zylight. "It's perfect for high light output needs and delivers the balanced, natural looking light our customers expect in the studio or on location." With its high CRI (Color Rendering Index) and TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) ratings, the F8-300 uses quantum dot LED technology to deliver excellent light quality. Available in tungsten (3,200K) or daylight (5,600K), it offers single shadow traditional Fresnel beam shaping, adjustable beam spread (16- to 70-degrees), and spot and flood operations. Constructed with aircraft aluminum and composite reinforced thermoplastics, the water resistant F8-300 (IP54) delivers in challenging weather conditions. It also allows full DMX operation, and includes ZyLink wireless technology, so multiple Zylights can be linked for simultaneous remote control.
