NAMM Update: Anaheim Open for Business, Donation Made to Wildlife Relief Run

John Mlynczak, president and CEO of NAMM has issued an additional statement regarding the NAMM Show in Anaheim next week:

"We have been in constant contact with our partners and city officials all week, and Anaheim is still unaffected by the wildfires in northern Los Angeles. We have confirmed that the air quality is safe, that traffic between LAX and Anaheim will not impact relief efforts, and that our hotel rooms will not displace any evacuees. We want to be sure that we can gather for a safe, successful NAMM Show while also supporting the ongoing relief efforts. Please read our Official Statement for more details.

"The 2025 NAMM Show will unite our global industry in support of those impacted in Los Angeles. We are coordinating relief efforts with our partners and are communicating with our members in LA on their needs. The NAMM Foundation has committed $50,000 to our LA Wildfires Relief Fund, and we are overwhelmed by the generosity of the many additional contributions. This fund will provide needs-based assistance to NAMM members, employees of NAMM member companies, music education programs, and music makers impacted by the fires. The NAMM Show will provide two dedicated LA Wildfire Relief Centers for attendees to learn more about how they can support the coordinated efforts of our members and partners. These will be located in Hall C and in ACC North Level 2, and you can find them on the exhibit hall map in the NAMM+ App.
