Bandit Lites Purchases Mega-Lite Circa Scoops Bandit Lites inventory continues to expand with a recent large purchase of Mega-Lite Circa Scoop LED luminaires, giving clients more variety and range in designing tours, festivals, and events. The lightweight static light features an inner ring and outer ring with 144 and 192 RGB LEDs, respectively. These can produce an array of color combinations along with a bright, cool white that give a good amount of throw and allow lighting designers to achieve a nice, subtle wash. The rings also can generate a pulsing strobe and macro effects. "The Circa Scoop LED is a great addition to our inventory because it adds just a bit more flare then other products, the ability to go from a classic look to an aggressive look, adding great versatility to any rig," said Bandit Lites director of technical services, Jake Tickle. Bandit Lites has already utilized the new gear on multiple gigs, including the Dailey & Vincent Christmas special, "The Sounds of Christmas," the upcoming Big Blue Madness at Rupp Arena and Morgan Evans listening party. "Unlike other fixtures in its class, the Circa takes your ability to Pixelmap to the next level," added Tickle. "The other aspect I really enjoy is the reflective warm white; when added, it creates a lot of depth in your visuals. Mega-Lite has done a great job giving you as many bells and whistle as possible in a seemingly simple fixture. There are 16 instances of controllable RGB, coupled with a very nice warm white/amber as your center pixel. This fixture goes from classic to over the top in an instant."
