More Hippotizer Media Servers in Russia

Green Hippo Ltd. is making a substantial push into the Russian market with their recent sale of ten Hippotizer HD media servers to Big Screen Service in Russia. The Hippotizer HD is the company's top of the range unit and with a view to these being used on high-profile events. Green Hippo Ltd. is enthusiastic about a future increase of their market share within this territory. Head of sales, Samantha Bailey, comments: "Big Screen Service is an important contact for us in Russia. They are involved in some major projects and we are very excited to have them on board as professional Hippotizer users in this area."

Based in Moscow, Big Screen Service was formed in 2001 and is a leading rental supplier of video display systems. The company deals with LED products, video projection, and media servers and works with a range of TV channels, concert halls, and venues as well as production companies to provide rental solutions in Russia.

Evgeny Marinichev of Big Screen Service explains: "Green Hippo's media servers fit perfectly into our current product range. The main advantage of Hippotizer software is that you can control it directly, without using a lighting console. Additionally, you can mix or change perimeters at anytime using 'live' mode. This is great as you don't need to follow the timeline step by step."

Big Screen Service plan to use the Hippotizers for multi-channel output setups to large panorama projections, events utilizing a large amount of LED screens, and for 3D mapping solutions.

This sale compliments the on-going work and efforts of Green Hippo's Russian distributor -- Force Media, since signing last year, has significantly increased Green Hippo's market share and awareness.
