Broadway Green Alliance Includes Chauvet Professional in Every Category of Greener Lighting Guide

Chauvet Professional has long been dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint of lighting products. This commitment was acknowledged recently when the Broadway Green Alliance, an industry-wide coalition dedicated to promoting environmentally friendly practices in the theatre industry, included Chauvet Professional products in every category of its Greener Lighting Guide.

Focused on promoting energy efficient lighting alternatives that can reduce the industry's carbon footprint, the Greener Lighting Guide is available to everyone, from designers to producers. "This environmental initiative is very important to us as individuals and as a company," said Albert Chauvet, president of Chauvet Professional. "We believe this is an important step our industry can take to help protect the planet for future generations."

Chauvet Professional appears in the Greener Lighting Guide on all categories, from profile spots to fixed beam washes, and from automated moving spot lights to strip lights. The company's Ovation LED line appears multiple times across the Greener Lighting Guide. For example, the Ovation E-190WW ellipsoidal spot is listed in the profile spots section, while the Legend 230SR Beam and the Q-Spot 460 LED are in the automated moving spot category; the Legend 412 and Legend 412Z appear in the automated moving beam section.
