Epson Introduces 12 New PowerLite L-Series Portable ProjectorsEpson announces 12 new three-chip 3LCD PowerLite L-Series laser projectors. The new PowerLite L-Series will be on display at ISE in Barcelona from Feb. 4 - 7 at Epson's stand, 3J100. The new lineup delivers higher brightness and pro level features in a portable design, with an expanded range of throw ratios that solve placement challenges. With standard throw projectors and newly added optical zoom on two short throw options, the PowerLite L-Series now covers an expansive range of throw ratios between .5 to 2.2. This allows greater installation flexibility across applications, the company says, from floor and rear projection to meeting rooms and lecture halls. Previously only available in Epson's interchangeable lens lineup, the new projectors include installation tools such as NFC, advanced geometric correction, and the optional PixAlign camera for simplifying complex multi-projector installations such as screen matching, blending, or stacking. "It's an exciting time in the industry as more end users embrace projection technology to light up and transform spaces into one-of-a-kind experiences," says Chris Teguh, product manager at Epson America, Inc. "With these latest additions to Epson's fixed-lens lineup of laser projectors, we are not only delivering enhanced brightness but extending throw ratio options and adding powerful features -- once reserved for Epson's higher-end projectors -- now within reach for more users. Combining three-chip and 4K Enhancement Technology that doubles HD resolution on screen, plus now up to 8,000 lumens of brightness and short throw zoom models, the new PowerLite L-Series is a very enticing lineup that offers impressive image quality and specs within its class." Powered by Epson's three-chip 3LCD technology, the new lineup includes an 8,000-lumen model along with options featuring Full HD WUXGA resolution and 4K Enhancement Technology for sharp, detailed images -- even for up close viewing. Built for a variety of environments -- classrooms and lecture halls, conference rooms, hybrid workspaces, and more -- these powerful projectors produce high-resolution images up to 500" in 16:10. Plus, they are capable of projecting in a variety of other aspect ratios, the company says, including ultra-wide 16:6 and 21:9 for enhanced content display and visibility. The PowerLite L-Series features sleek, lightweight chassis and up to 30,000-hour virtually maintenance-free laser light source and air filter in extended mode. These versatile projectors offer powerful features, such as optical zoom, wide lens shift, geometric correction tools, and more for simple and seamless installation. With built-in wireless communication, users can monitor and control projector fleets remotely from a web browser using the Epson Projector Management Connected app, as well as enable advanced screen casting tools like Epson iProjection and Miracast. Including various short throw models, different resolution options, and ranging from up to 6,000 to 8,000 lumens of equal color brightness (IDMS rated) and white brightness (ISO rated),4 the new PowerLite L-Series is designed to meet virtually any application. Additional features: *A compact and lightweight design featuring standard and multiple short throw models, a wide vertical and horizontal lens shift, up to 1.7x optical zoom, 360-degree mounting, built-in geometric correction tools, and a universal VESA mounting pattern *Wi-Fi 6/6E allows for fast, reliable wireless connectivity for screencasting, along with direct connection to the cloud-based service, Epson Projector Management Connected, and WPA 3-enterprise security *Built-in NFC reduces installation time of multiple projectors; Epson Projector Config Tool Mobile App can read and write setting information without the need to power on the projector *Optional attachable PixAlign camera simplifies complex multi-projector installations including screen matching, auto color calibration, simple blending for super wide displays, and simple stacking without an external PC *Over-the-air updates allow user to optionally be alerted when a firmware update is available *Enhanced connectivity: HDBaseT and HDMI two in and one out for daisy chaining and signal monitoring The series will be available in April 2025. Special pricing will be available through the Brighter Futures program, the company says.
