W-DMX Reveals New Products and Upgrades at PALME Middle East

Wireless Solution Sweden AB is showing new products and some innovative advancements to their product range during PALME Middle East, May 1-3, 2012 at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, UAE, in the Prolites Demo Room.

PALME Middle East is the region's longest standing trade event for the professional sound, light, audio visual, music, entertainment, and systems integration industries.

Wireless Solution has been working on a completely new software platform since October 2011 that is prepared for future hardware functions as well as many new features and updated functions. The W-DMX G4S software platform includes improved adaptive frequency hopping; new Invisi-Wire MK2 with support for wireless software updates; improved data-safe MK2 that now supports up to four times redundancy of all the wireless data; RDM MK2 with custom made features for W-DMX as well as all standard RDM commands. Fast discovery and support up to 128 RDM responders and more. According to the company, this completely new platform has the lowest latency in the market under 5ms, available for a software update on all existing Micro F-1, BlackBox, WhiteBox, and ProBox units already shipped via the USB dongle. The new software is patent protected in Europe as well US.

BlackBox MK2 is the most flexible wireless product on the market, says the company. First, it supports the easiest use for clients with support of: Quicklock Clamp, DIN Rail installation, as well as rack mount -- all from one unit. Pure plug and play. It comes standard with Neutric Powercon and Ethercon, all in a die-cast aluminum mould from Wireless Solution.

ProBox F-2500 is the flagship of W-DMX products and according to the company, gives users the highest flexibility on the market, offering not only DMX and RDM, but supports both input an output of Ethernet protocols like Art-Net as well as s/ACN, with more protocols added in the future. It has a built-in BlueBox controller that gives users the ability to have a complete RDM controller that uses your PC based browser for user configuration and many additional features, all packed inside a 19" 1U rack format.
