Location Sound Corporation Relaunches Website with E-commerce

Location Sound Corporation has announced the relaunch of its website, which now comes with e-commerce capabilities. The previous site only allowed customers to request a quote. Now, the company says, customers can place orders online knowing their information is protected by the highest encryption possible from VeriSign, the Web's #1 security provider.

Found at the same domain name, www.locationsound.com, the new site features several functionalities that promise to make navigation quick and easy. One such functionality is called "predictive search" which suggests items that match your query as you type -- a manufacturer's model number or LSC's own inventory SKU-- allowing you to get to the page you want to be more quickly. The site also looks for keywords found in a product's description name. Customers can easily search the categories found on the left side of the page, or they can "search by brand" by clicking the link to a specific manufacturer. If customers lose track of the category in which the product is listed, all they need to do is scroll back to the top of the page and look for the "breadcrumb trail," a navigation trail which allows them to backtrack to the starting point.

Online orders are applicable to domestic sales (continental US, Alaska and Hawaii). As always, international orders are accepted by phone, email, or fax.
