Announcing the Launch of Morlights

Morlights, a lighting design collaborative, is officially launching as an independent lighting design firm after 15 years of licensing the Lightswitch brand. Founded by Avraham (Avi) Mor, Morlights specializes in the lit environment, using light as our creative medium to design and deliver projects of all scales. The Chicago-based firm uses artistry and technology to find the perfect balance between beauty and budget, all while considering the environmental impact of our designs.

Mor is a seasoned lighting designer, having worked in the field for over 17 years with projects spanning commercial, hospitality, corporate, educational, and residential markets. "With Morlights, we can have a more strategic focus on the specific clients and the kinds of work we do best: architectural and museum lighting. I am looking forward to delivering the work we've become known for in Chicago to broader audience throughout the Midwest and beyond," says Mor.

Morlights maintains its previous staff of highly talented designers, including John Cahill, senior designer; Thatcher Waller, senior designer; Sean Murphy, senior designer; Casey Diers, senior designer; and Kelsey Nowak, junior designer.
