The ULM's tiny receiver dongle can be connected directly to any Behringer UFX, QX, and Q-Series "wireless-ready" mixers, plus similarly equipped EUROLIVE active loudspeakers. Sound travels through the hand-held mic's built-in transmitter, which works anywhere in the world in the license-free 2.4GHz range. The company says digital encryption ensures the signal gets through in all its quality, without the random artifacts that are said to often plague other wireless systems. Users can enjoy eight hours of performance time from a pair of inexpensive AA alkaline batteries, which are available virtually everywhere. Easy-to-operate volume and mute functions are right on the mic body.
