Chauvet Sponsors "Live Production of the Year" TPI AwardChauvet, a manufacturer of professional lighting, sponsored the Live Production of the Year TPI award that went to the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony, as part of the TPI Awards 2013 event organized at Novotel London West hotel in London. Chauvet key account manager Darren Jackson handed the award to representatives of the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony. Also attending the event were representatives of the Chauvet brand in the UK, such as Stage Electrics, Utopium Lighting, One Big Star, Camel Lighting, Panalux, CSP Audio Visual, and more. "The event was a sellout and a huge success for everybody," Jackson said. "It was great to see the Chauvet brand in and amongst the market leaders, and the feedback we got from potential clients was very positive." Michael Brooksbank, general manager for Chauvet's branch in the UK, saw great value in sponsoring the Live Production of the Year award. "The TPI Awards 2013 ceremony is one of the two major awards given in the UK specific to the lighting industry," Brooksbank said. "We have the Knight of Illumination Awards, which is specific to the lighting industry, and the TPI Awards, which focuses on the production and the event field. This was a great opportunity for us to contribute to the industry and to highlight the Chauvet brand among some of the higher names in the operation line of live events."
