Schuler Shook Announces New Principal Schuler Shook announces the promotion of Joshua Grossman, ASTC, to principal from senior consultant in Schuler Shook's Chicago office. Grossman joined the firm's Chicago team as a theatre consultant in 2000, applying his years of technical theatre, special events, and architectural restoration experience to a range of performance projects. In his new role as principal, he will continue to lead significant theatre planning projects for Schuler Shook's Chicago office and provide leadership and mentoring for new consultants. "Josh is a strong advocate for our clients and an effective leader within our office. We're looking forward to his contributions in his new role," said Robert Shook, president of Schuler Shook. Grossman's current and recent projects include the Theatre School at DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois; MIT Music and Theatre Arts Building, Cambridge, Massachusetts; The Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts, Beverly Hills, California; and Sala Beckett, Barcelona, Spain. He serves on the board of directors for the American Society of Theatre Consultants and works to promote the field of theatre planning through involvement in PLASA, the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) and by serving as a mentor for theatre consulting interns at Schuler Shook. Josh has lectured for The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, The Illinois Institute of Technology and Columbia College. He is a graduate of Emerson College.
