Martin Professional Introduces New Additions to VC-Grid and VC-Strip LED Video SolutionsLast week at InfoComm 2014, Harman's Martin Professional introduced the latest additions to its VC-Grid and VC-Strip LED video solutions to include 15mm, 25mm, 30mm, and 60mm pixel pitch for architectural installations, stage design, and television set design. Martin's VC-Grid LED panel allows for the creative integration of LED video into interiors, set elements, stage designs, and custom-shaped LED video screens. Driven by Martin's P3 System Controller, the VC-Grid provides high-quality image processing that eliminates the need for DMX pixelmapping, loose power supplies, and cabling. The VC-Grid offers 64 individually controllable pixels in RGB and cool, medium, and warm white colors. Additionally, a hybrid power/date cabling systems allows the panels to be easily daisy-chained for design freedom. "With the latest additions to the VC-Grid and VC-Strip family, we are now able to offer the most comprehensive range of solutions for any creative LED video project," said Wouter Verlinden, product manager for LED video, Martin Professional. "Our integrated cabling system and ergonomic processing take the difficulty out of working with creative LED video. Martin's VC-Grids and VC-Strips are perfect for any LED video application from rental and installation to low or high resolution." The VC-Strip is a narrow yet extremely flexible LED video strip that can be cut to required length directly on-site. VC-Strips are fed power and data via Martin Professional's P3 PowerPort 1500 and is controlled by Martin's P3 System Controller for smooth playback. The VC-Strips are also fitted with color temperature control, color target control, and gamma curve control and are guaranteed to perform at the same frame rate as the video source. Additionally, the VC-Strip is fully compatible with Martin's VC-Grid panel for more innovative and creative LED video designs.
