d&b audiotechnik Exhibits Installation Products for the Integrator at InfoComm d&b audiotechnik Corporation announces the launch of a new product class of loudspeaker at InfoComm 2019. Continuing the d&b applied evolution engineering and suitable for a variety of mid-size applications, the new product will be on display at booth 6761 and demonstrated in the d&b demo room, W232AB. More details to follow. The recently announced B8/Bi8 subwoofers will also be found in the booth and in the d&b demo room as part of overall product demonstrations. The ultra compact subs are approximately 6.7" high, low profile, the B8 maintains high performance to size ratio with a low frequency from 170 down to 43Hz. In the booth 6761, attendees will get an overview of d&b products and Workflow including the KSL line array, along with the new DS20 Milan-based system and DS100 Signal engine that that operates as a level-delay matrix processor and is also the core component of a Soundscape system when optional software modules are added. The DS20 Audio network bridge is the company's first product offering that can connect its loudspeaker systems to the open standards-based Milan protocol. Milan is an unwavering network that inherits all the technical benefits of Audio Video Bridging (AVB) technology; for example, improved reliability, optimum synchronization, and hassle-free network set up. The KSL System is the versatile, no compromise smaller sibling of its big sister GSL. KSL brings to market all the recognizable benefits of its special loudspeaker (SL) lineage, including full range broadband directivity, extended LF response and advanced rigging options in an accessible size and performance package. KSL is designed for sound reinforcement needs of any genre, mobile or installed, from large scale arenas, stadiums and festivals to medium scale applications such as clubs, theatres, houses of worship, and performing arts venues. The R90 Touchscreen remote control panel expands the d&b workflow for dedicated permanently installed applications where adjustments to a d&b audio system can be made by onsite staff that may have limited technical knowledge. It can easily be set up in advance by integrators with no code-based programming required. d&b audiotechnik has made Revit Building Information Modeling (BIM) files available that allow consultants, architects, and system integrators to include d&b loudspeakers in a Revit-based BIM process at any stage of a project. Revit files have been created with maximum workflow efficiency and a remarkably accurate visual representation of a d&b system within a model and a simplified workflow from inception to completion of a specific project. Improving upon the d&b Workflow, d&b ArrayCalc Exchange is a SketchUp extension that allows users to convert CAD and EASE files into an ArrayCalc venue file (*.dbacv) that can be imported directly into ArrayCalc simulation software. d&b ArrayCalc Exchange supports system designers in mobile and installed applications by simplifying the creation of complex venues in ArrayCalc. A comprehensive range of d&b installation loudspeakers will also be on display at the booth presented in special colors and application variants from the xS-, xC-, V-, Y-, and E-Series representing line array, point source, and column options for the integrator market together with the installation specific amplifiers. "Our intent for InfoComm 2019 is to provide installation-focused solutions for the integrator," states Marc Lopez, vice president of marketing, d&b audiotechnik Americas. "Venues, houses of worship, and other facilities are demanding higher quality experiences for their audiences and congregations. d&b is eager to share its incredible array of solutions and expertise that deliver an engaging and truthful audio experience to each and every listener."
