Crescit.com Becomes Crescit Cloud

Q2Q Technologies, the provider of custom software and hardware for the entertainment industry, announces one of its brands, Crescit.com, has received a major update and is now called Crescit Cloud.

In a statement, the company says, "This name change reflects the broad platform of resources expanded to support 50,000+ devices, complete with detailed specs, resources, project management, and collaboration tools to streamline AV and lighting projects across design, visualization, and programming workflows."

The name change signals a suite of new features including 3D model web visualization, designed to improve users' workflows beyond the platform; the ability to compare technical specifications of multiple fixtures simultaneously; enhanced search filters; fixture firmware downloads; magic sheet and Vectorworks symbols downloads; a dark mode; and professionally curated GDTF profiles.

Updates will offer a 3D photometrics visualizer, a custom Vectorworks symbol export tool. Automatic rig power draw calculator, rig weight estimation, more symbol export formats, the ability to export fixture comparisons as PDF or Excel files, device firmware update notifications, the ability to upload your own firmware files, and more control profile export formats.
