Adlib Open Event to Inaugurate New Warehouse in ScotlandEntertainment production specialist Adlib inaugurates its new Scottish warehouse in Glasgow with an afternoon / evening event on Thursday, October 13, 2016. Adlib has invested over £1million in the Scottish operation since its launch at the start of 2015. The new warehouse completes the current phase of development which also includes a substantial amount of new equipment and the set-up of a comprehensive infrastructure. The "open" event will provide a great opportunity for guests to check out the new premises and meet key members of the Adlib team, together with some of the manufacturers and suppliers / distributors with whom Adlib works closely. On the audio side, these will include L-Acoustics with their KARA and K2 systems; console manufacturers DiGiCo demonstrating their SD10 and S21 products; Soundcraft highlighting the Vi6 and Vi3000; Midas with their ProX and Pro2 desks; plus Shure, Sennheiser, and DPA Microphones showcasing a selection of their latest products. Lighting brands represented will include Martin Professional by Harman with their MAC Axiom, Quantum profile, and Aura XB moving lights plus their RUSH range, together with Sceptrons and the new P3-50 controller, the VC creative LED range and their Exterior 500 image projector. Robe will showcase their DL4 series of LED moving lights designed for theatre, the Viva LED profile moving light, the new Spikie -- a small, super-fast LED WashBeam, CycBar 12 LED battens, and other innovative technology. Chauvet Professional will be there with their popular Rogue and Maverick moving lights; Canford Audio show the Green-Go and TecPro comms packages; J&C Joel will be illustrating imaginative and original draping solutions, and other brands will include Panasonic, Avolites, with more being still being added. There will be hands-on demonstrations so guests can see the new rental stock that Adlib has made permanently available from the Glasgow operation. This and the event underlines Adlib's commitment to Scotland and highlights the quality and convenience of working with Adlib to provide a flexible range of tailor-made solutions for touring and installations. A forthcoming training program to be hosted in the new Glasgow training facility is available to industry professionals working in all sectors.
