13 MNA Member Companies Promoting AES67 at ISEA total of 13 Media Networking Alliance (MNA) member companies are exhibiting at ISE 2017, promoting product that supports AES67. The AV industry alliance of manufacturers and end-users, promoting awareness and adoption of the high-performance AES67 AoIP interoperability open standard, is supporting its members at ISE and sponsoring a program of technical presentations during the show. Several member companies are running live AES67 demonstrations on their booths during the show. The ALC NetworX / Ravenna booth #7-V210 will feature the MNA Ravenna "demo rack" which will include the new Ravenna Audio Network Manager tool developed by Digigram and Merging Technologies. Currently in beta format, it provides scalability, security, and control of large networks. The Ravenna demo rack features products from Lawo, Ward-Beck, ARG, Riedel, Merging, DirectOut, and Digigram, and is topped by a pair of Genelec 8430IP speakers for playout. On booth #3-A110 Genelec is demonstrating an array of its 8430A IP studio monitors using an AES67 stream, played through multiple AoIP-systems using Ravenna, LiveWire+, and Dante protocols. QSC Systems -- booth 7-Q170 -- will be running a number of AES67 demos involving the Shure MXA910 Ceiling Array Microphone sending AES67 audio directly to the Q-SYS Core processors. Though not strictly an AES67 demonstration, Merging Technologies' demonstration in the Audio Solutions Theatre in Hall 7 (8 Feb, 15:30 to 16:00) "Mixing 3D content to a 360 degree picture in a dome environment," will feature all merging equipment transmitting audio via AES67. Meanwhile all audio transmission on the company's booth 7-C169 will be via AES67. The complete line up of MNA member companies at ISE is: ALC NetworX 7-v210 Attero Tech 3-A122 Audio Technica 3-A122 Bosch 7M176 Digigram 7-C169 Focusrite 7-S180 Genelec 3-A119 Harman 1-F2, 1-F6 Lawo 7-V210 Merging Technologies 7-C169 QSC 7-Q170 Solid State Logic 7-S176 Yamaha 3-C120 The MNA is sponsoring a program of presentations in the Audio Solutions Theatre. Also included in the MNA's program is a two hour Networking Lab - "How to Leverage AES67 to integrate multiple networked audio systems" (D403, February 9,10:00am) -- will feature a team of four leading alliance member media networking experts and a live AES67 interoperability demonstration, incorporating Dante, Ravenna, Q-LAN, and Livewire+ devices on a single network. Also on the February 9 (D507, 4:00 - 6:00pm) is a major panel discussion entitled "How AES67 can serve you and your networked system designs." This features a panel of six highly experienced AoIP networking professionals. Under the moderation of Rich Zwiebel, MNA chairman and vice president systems strategy, QSC, the panel will explore issues and answer questions from the floor, in a unique opportunity to engage with an industry leading pool of experience and expertise.
