Show Production Services Invests in 19-Pin EverGrip Cable Assemblies from Lex Products

	Show Productions Services purchased 19-pin overmolded EverGrip cable assembiles, part of the PowerFlex line of cable assemblies from Lex Products for the Genesis tour.

Show Production Services has invested in the new, award-winning 19-pin overmolded EverGrip, part of the PowerFlex line of cable assemblies from Lex Products / Ten47.

The company was introduced to the product at this year's PLASA London exhibition. Managing director Howard Kirk said, "we met Phil from Lex Products UK / Ten47 and Mark from Lex US on the stand at this year's show and we were very impressed by the range and quality of all their cable products, especially the 19-pin cable ends which are extremely tough and robust. As a company using a lot of socapex on touring productions and live events we would be extremely confident in the reliability and durability of the cabling system we were providing when fitted with the new ends. In my opinion it was probably the best new product at this year's show. The 19-pin connector and the cable is completely encased in heavy duty thermoplastic, making it almost indestructible!"

Show Production Services is the main lighting and production contractor for the Genesis That's All world tour in 2014. This full production tribute show to the British super group will reproduce the 1980 Duke show. Kirk said, "the entire show will be replicated right down to the last nut and bolt. The lighting rig was originally designed by Alan Goldberg for Showco Inc. and Alan has been very instrumental in putting the system together and in keeping the show and the look authentic."

Lex UK / Ten47 will be providing a complete custom cabling system for the tour including socapex looms fitted with the EverGrip ends along with mains cables and distribution.
