TOMCAT U Returns to Gatlinburg in March

The rigging and hoist training workshop, TOMCAT U, will be returning once again to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, March 5 - 9, 2018. Attendees can increase their knowledge and skills, as well as personal value, with rigging and hoist specific courses designed for industry professionals.

TOMCAT is partnering with Rope Access Professionals for this year's course to offer another training opportunity to the TOMCAT U experience -- SPRAT Rope Access Certification. This five-day training course consists of four days of training and one day of evaluation.

Participants can choose one of three available courses in this year's workshop, as they run simultaneously.

1. Hoist & Truss
- CM (RTC) road technician
- Certification exam
- Automation

2. Rigging & Truss
- Rigging theory / practical application
- Fall arrest

3. SPRAT Rope Access Certification
- Four days of training plus one day of evaluation
- Open to all intro, recert, or direct entry (levels 1, 2, and 3)

Registration rates for the workshop are listed below and include six nights of accommodations at the Black Bear Inn & Suites, transportation to and from the airport, lunch onsite during workshop hours, and a tour and catered dinner at the TOMCAT factory in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Rope Access rate also includes all SPRAT certification fees.
