Lumenpulse Appoints Lighting Industry Expert Gorm Teichert to Executive Team

Lumenpulse Inc., a manufacturer of high-performance, architectural LED-based lighting solutions for commercial, institutional, and urban environments, announces that architectural and entertainment lighting expert Gorm Teichert has joined as executive vice president of international sales.

This addition comes on the heels of the recent appointment of intelligent LED illumination pioneer Bill Sims to its board, as well as the formal introduction of its all-star executive team, which Teichert now joins. This leadership group -- together with Lumenpulse's specification-grade, sustainable products-- are focused on the LED fixtures market that totaled $3.8B in 2010 and is estimated to grow to $9b by 2014 (Source: Strategies Unlimited).

Teichert is a recognized industry visionary, who brings more than two decades of senior-level lighting experience, including stints as chief marketing officer and senior vice president, with global lighting companies such as Lighting Science Group, Martin Professional A/S, Erco Lighting, Lightmakers A/S, and Louis Poulsen.
