Drape Kings Wins Multiple Regional AwardsMonday, May 11th, Drape Kings was honored with the ISES DC Influence Award in the category of Best Event Support Services for their work with the 2014 Gettysburg Great Campaign Kick Off. This event, which began the College's $150 million campaign to improve the educational experience of future students, required a true statement gala for the start of its global fundraising efforts. Drape Kings transformed the school's Beam Gymnasium into two dynamic event spaces using over 1,000' of 22'h Latte Supervel event drape and 15,000-sq.-ft. of show carpet in Gettysburg's colors of Cobalt and Orange. These spaces were separated with additional Latte Supervel hung off of 95' of Drape King's quiet traveler track. This spectacular metamorphosis provided the client with a sensational venue, helping to kick off a campaign that has already raised $90 million towards its goal. April 20th, Drape Kings was again honored for their annual sponsorship of AFR's "Design Spark Chicago" event. This event, established as a yearly unveiling of AFR's new product line, saw two blank studio spaces on different levels of Resolution Digital Studios reinvented into high energy event spaces. The ground level evolved into a magical reception area featuring a stage backdrop of Chameleon Star Drape overlaid with White Sheer. The stage wings, including a floating ceiling treatment, were formed with Drape Kings' White Supervel while the seating area featured a White and Black Sheer canopy. The second level was enveloped in White Supervel creating a stylish screening studio. This win is a reflection of the dynamic collaboration between Drape Kings and fellow event professionals AFR Event Furnishings, Kaiser Tiger, Carey Smolensky Productions, Arena Americas, Food For Thought, Tasty Catering, The Revel Group, and Limelight Catering, the company says. See Drape Kings at PLASA Focus: Kansas City, May 20 - 21.
