Hear them Live at InfoComm 2014: Meyer Sound Demos Installation Loudspeakers with IntelligentDCAt InfoComm 2014, attendees are invited to visit the Meyer Sound demo room N110 and show booth C9725 to learn how its expanding self-powered loudspeaker offerings can provide a sonic and logistical edge to any project. These products range from remotely powered installation loudspeakers featuring IntelligentDC technology, to the new flagship linear sound reinforcement systems LEO and LYON and the AVB-capable CAL column array loudspeaker. IntelligentDC systems are a range of self-powered loudspeakers driven by the remote IntelligentDC power supply, with one cable carrying power and balanced audio to reduce installation time and cost. Packing all the benefits of self-powering, including consistency and reliability, these systems are ideal for many commercial distributed installations and other systems that demand exceptional audio quality, as well as for where local AC outlets are not available or possible. The InfoComm demos show configurations most commonly found in today's integration projects, and feature a number of products with IntelligentDC technology: the MM-4XP self-powered loudspeaker, the UPJunior-XP and UPJ-1XP VariO loudspeakers, the UP-4XP loudspeaker, and the UMS-1XP and MM-10 subwoofers. Another remotely powered installation loudspeaker, the Stella-8C, is also demonstrated. Also showcased in the live demos is the MJF-210, the lightest stage monitor in the Meyer Sound product line, and the steerable CAL column array loudspeaker. At the Meyer Sound booth, attendees will see the LEO Family, comprising the newest LYON linear sound reinforcement system and its larger sibling, the LEO linear large-scale sound reinforcement system. Complemented by the 1100-LFC low-frequency control element and the Galileo Callisto loudspeaker management system, LEO Family products can anchor a powerful system for installations in everything from large auditoriums to arenas and stadiums, as well as tours and festivals.
