A.C. Lighting Appoints Walter Glover III as Senior Vice President of Product DevelopmentA.C. Lighting announces that Walter Glover III has joined the company as senior vice president of product development. Glover brings over three decades of expertise in the film, television, and entertainment lighting industries. His career spans roles as a gaffer, director of photography (DP), and lighting designer, with projects spanning five continents. In his new role, Glover will work closely with gaffers, directors of photography, and lighting designers to develop new products. He has been instrumental in helping manufacturers develop and launch products that resonate with film and broadcast markets. He played a critical role in helping to establish the Chroma-Q Studio Force and Luminex networking products in the film and broadcast markets. His role in helping to shape the design and development of the recently introduced Avenger Banshee is an example of Glover's ability to translate the wants and wishes of the film and broadcast community into must-have creative tools. Glover's passion for lighting runs in his blood, having grown up under the mentorship of his father, Walter Glover Sr., a veteran DP and lighting designer. His career began at Production Lighting Systems, where he progressed from repairing and building equipment to managing shop operations and leading teams of over 30 employees.
