Acclaim Lighting Upgrades Outdoor Link System to Include More Layout and Connection Options

Acclaim Lighting announces that it has updated its Outdoor Link System, a solution to reduce the time-consuming challenge of distributing power and control to multiple exterior lighting fixtures.

New to the Outdoor Link System are additional layout options made possible by new cable configurations. A new Y connection option is well suited for pole mounting or extending the cable system to two units. Plus, an enhanced molding process means increased durability for the entire system to stand up to extreme environmental challenges, the company says.

Acclaim's Outdoor Link System utilizes fast-fit IP67-rated hybrid connectors and compact junctions to suit any linkable fixture layout. For instance, high-output Dyna Drum and Dyna Accent fixtures can be equipped with an Outdoor Link System connector as an option, while Unity floodlight fixtures directly accept the system's link cables without modification.

Designed for long-term performance, the Outdoor Link System cables and connectors are fully UV-stabilized, NEC-compliant, and flame-resistant to meet UL standards 94-V0 and VW-1. The DMX signal core is internally shielded within its own sub-cable, and the power cores are rated to 15A.

All of the Outdoor Link System components are rated for wet locations to provide reliable operation regardless of weather conditions. Components include:

• Feed cables - 1' to 50' lengths (30cm to 15.2m)
• Link cables - 1' to 50' lengths (30cm to 15.2m)
• T-junctions and Y-junctions
• End caps with DMX termination
