Lighthouse Takes Center Stage at this year's Top Music Festivals LED video and digital signage company Lighthouse Jumbovision launched its new creative product -- DuoLED -- only nine months ago. Despite that recent introduction, DuoLED figured prominently in this year's Coachella music festival, Stagecoach country music festival, and Wango Tango in Los Angeles. DuoLED has become the fastest-selling product in Lighthouse history, the company reports, with manufacturing barely able to keep up with the orders. DuoLED is a lightweight mesh product with the advantages of transparency, ease of handling, and an extra benefit. As the name suggests, DuoLED is a dual mode product. It can be used as a mesh screen and, with the flick of a switch, transforms into a standard display panel. The second mode is achieved by a revolutionary set of shutters that close behind the mesh and give the panels a solid appearance. DuoLED is available in 12mm and 18mm pixel pitch versions, and is ideal for large format indoor or outdoor displays. For rental companies and multi-use facilities, DuoLED's capabilities eliminate the need to stock both mesh and standard panels. "For multi-use facilities, DuoLED halves the cost of high-end LED video," adds Ed Whitaker, Lighthouse Jumbovision N.A.S.A director of sales, "while increasing both event and video flexibility. It's an exciting product, offering the best of both worlds."
