Country music singer-songwriter Alexandra Kay is out on tour with a lighting system provided by Bandit Lites. With her 2023 release All I've Ever Known, Kay used her heartfelt lyrics and powerful vocals to weave stories fans can relate to and identify with. In addition to the album debut at #1 on the iTunes Country Charts and #1 on the iTunes All Genre Chart, Kay is featured on Jelly Roll's Leave the Light On single from the summer's hottest blockbuster film, Twisters.

Lighting designer Corbin Alvae drew inspiration for the lighting after pouring over All I've Ever Known. "When I was working on this design, I had to go into her shoes and feel the emotions she was feeling. That's when the concept came about: something hard hitting, but visually appealing that fit her style in a way that made her fans feel even more of the emotions that she put into her songs on the album."

Bandit Lites supplied Chauvet Rogue R1 FX-B, Megalite Circa Scoops and ADJ Jolt Bar. Alvae implemented the Circa Scoops pixel mapping abilities saying, "In certain moments, they'd be spinning, but then jump over to a 'line drawing' which visually looks really neat, so I was very happy how that came out."

"When Corbin came to me, he was in search of eye candy fixtures that could really be versatile as well as pack a punch," said Bandit Lites client representative Mark Scherer. "The Circa Scoop provided the classic retro look with a modern twist to easily match any song. The ADJ Jolt bars added the punch and strobe he was looking for, and he rounded it out with the FX-B's to add multiple beams out of one fixture."

The result was a system that consistently helps to transport fans to the real and raw moments Alexandra Kay shares in her songs.

"Corbin's design and programming helps to elevate an already incredible performance," said Scherer. "I look forward to continuing working with Alexandra Kay as her career continues to grow!"

"As always, Bandit has been so welcoming and so helpful," finished Alvae. "Working on this project with Mark and (project manager) Craig Richter when I brought the concept to them was absolutely flawless. Between the communication, the ideas, working with them and the rest of the Bandit staff has been nothing short of amazing."
