Chauvet Professional Ovation E-930VW Wins New Products Award at WFX There are many reasons why Chauvet Professional's Ovation E-930VW variable white ellipsoidal fixture can be an invaluable addition to a house of worship's lighting rig. Projecting a bright, flat field of light in nearly any temperature of white with high CRI and CQS, and featuring a proprietary six-color LED system, the new fixture is ideal for the forward-looking contemporary church that broadcasts and streams worship services, concerts, and other events. These attributes weren't lost on the panel of judges drawn from leading church technical directors and the Worship Tech Director website, who named the Ovation E-930VW a 2018 New Products Award Winner at the WFX Show in Orlando, Florida. "We are deeply honored by this recognition," said Albert Chauvet, CEO of Chauvet. "Our product development team had broadcast applications in mind when developing the Ovation E-930VW, which makes it ideal for many churches. We wanted a fixture that could not only provide lighting that was excellent for live services, but would also work perfectly when those services were broadcast for IMAG, streaming, or other video applications." Among the features Chauvet points to that make the Ovation E-930VW ideal for video lighting are its high CRI and wide color temperature range of 2,800K to 8,000K that can be further adjusted using +/- green to perfect the field of light. As a result of this and other features, the fixture has the ability to create outstanding whites for exceptionally true skin tones. Chauvet Professional is no stranger to the WFX New Products Awards, having received this honor five times previously. "Several years ago, we made a commitment to learn all we could to serve the church market with products that best fit its needs," said Chauvet. "It is very gratifying for us to see products that won this award in previous years making such a positive difference in worship services today."
