Turbosound Milan Is "Reader's Choice"Turbosound Milan Series loudspeakers have been praised at Pro Sound Web and Live Sound International's annual "Readers' Choice Awards." The announcement came during the Winter NAMM 2014 trade show, which was held at the Anaheim Convention Center. The new Milan Series has been completely re-engineered from the ground up, the company says combining enhanced performance with the ultimate in lightweight portability. Designed for musician, DJ, and AV applications, the series features a range of powered loudspeakers with Turbosound's sonic signature -- and is enhanced by DSP from Klark Teknik. Three loudspeaker options are available: the 1,100W 15" M15 and 12" M12, and 600W 10" M10. The two-way, full-range loudspeakers are suitable for either portable PA or installed applications and feature onboard Klark Teknik DSP for total system control, a converging elliptical waveguide for exceptional dispersion and pattern control, and speech/music switches for optimized performance depending upon the application. Two subwoofers complete the range: the 18" M18B and 15" M15B -- with a 2,200W of output each. "We've taken the Milan Series, ramped up the power and added features that elevate them to a class all their own," said Turbosound AVP Martin Reid. "The whole series still has that warm, sweet sound you've come to expect from Turbosound, but now we've added digital signal processing from Klark Teknik -- the best in the industry. Our new Class-D technology makes them light in weight and easy to transport. Add to this the crisp, fresh styling, and the Milan Series looks as impressive as they sound!" Turbosound won the 2012 Queen's Award for Enterprise: Innovation -- and has sold tens of thousands of their exceptional loudspeaker systems in the large-scale touring market. The company says users include a veritable "who's who" of the world-class international artists and entertainment venues. The Turbosound Milan M15, M12, M10, M18B and M15B are available and are covered by a three-year limited warranty program.
