URTA-USA829 Host Student-Faculty Mixer at USITTURTA and USA Local 829 will once again host a student-faculty mixer at USITT in Columbus, Ohio on March 6. The social mixer provides students the opportunity to network and converse with faculty from top MFA programs in design and technology, in a low-pressure, relaxed environment. "This annual event has proven an extremely popular way for students to learn about various training opportunities, and solicit advice from an array of experienced, professional faculty designers representing universities from across the country, without the pressure of a formal interview format," says URTA program director, Sara Ross. The mixer will take place in the North Atrium of the Columbus Convention Center from 3-4pm on Thursday, March 6. Light refreshments are generously provided by United Scenic Artists Local 829.
