Mountain Productions Holds Hoist School

Mountain Productions reports that this year's hoist school, held March 14-17, was a success. For the past 26 years Mountain Productions has been hosting this event onsite to help further educate those in the rigging industry. The four-day hands-on seminar offers students the ability to work directly with top-of-the-line equipment in the industry and learn from industry veterans.

While attending hoist school, students were treated to four days of activities including nightly dinners and entertainment throughout the area. This year's school featured lessons in hoist use and maintenance, rigging principles, truss management, and lifting and suspension. Classes were taught by industry professionals, including technicians from Columbus McKinnon, James Thomas Engineering, LiftAll, and Motion Laboratories.
