Below is a list of the design nominees: In the set design category, the nominees are Phil Charlwood, for King Lear, at Synetic Theatre; Daniel Conway, for Cyrano, at Folger Theatre; David Ghatan, for Voices Underwater, at Roschach Theatre; Misha Kachman, for A Bright New Boise, at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company; James Noone, for The Habit of Art, at the Studio Theatre; Collin Ranney, for A Year with Frog and Toad, at Adventure Theatre; and Lee Savage, for Much Ado About Nothing, at Shakespeare Theatre Company. In the lighting design category, nominees include Colin K. Bills, for A Bright New Boise; Michael Gilliam, for Ruined at Arena Stage; Andrew F. Griffin, for King Lear, and also for Othello at Folger Theatre; Chris Lee, for The Hollow, at Signature Theatre; Tyler Micoleau, for Much Ado About Nothing, at Shakespeare Theatre Company; and Thom Weaver, for Cyrano.
