Clair Brothers C10 Line Array: Best of Show Winner at InfoComm 2019 On the heels of last year's Best of Show at InfoComm 2018 for its 10SPOT loudspeaker, Clair Brothers is at it again. This year's winner, the C10, is the latest innovation in line array technology and the only 15° vertical, dual 10" format line array available with Clair TrueFit technology -- custom, continuously variable horizontal waveguides designed-to-order for theatre and auditorium-sized venues. The C10 is available with a variety of horizontal waveguide patterns. Standard waveguide is 100°H x 15°V, with horizontal waveguides 70°-to-120° (10° increments) also available. The C10, like the C12 and C8 (the 12" and 8" speakers in the C Series), features new transducer technology offering significant weight reduction and reduced amplifier channel requirements. The C10-TrueFit option represents an industry first in integration optimization incorporating a prize-winning innovation: Clair TrueFit Technology -- the first modular, bespoke waveguide. A TrueFit array is designed collaboratively with the customer, architectural consultants, and venue staff. First, the array type and location are determined. Venue-specific details are input into proprietary design software to design a fluid form waveguide with continuously variable geometry. Resulting in a perfectly unique, venue-specific loudspeaker array that provides naturally even coverage for audience areas and minimizes architectural reflection and anomalies. TrueFit Technology is available for these Clair Brothers products: * C8-TrueFit (double 8" line array) * C10-TrueFit (double 10" line array) * C12-TrueFit (double 12" line array) * kiTCurve12-TrueFit (12" curved array, fully custom) * kiTCurve12-TrueFit Standard (12in curved array, standardized left-center-right systems designed for ~200-500 seat venues) The C10-M has one of the most versatile and easy to use rigging systems in the industry. Each enclosure is equipped with structurally integrated bimodal rigging to allow for quick coverage angle adjustments for multiple venue arrangements. Rear rigging hardware allows for angle adjustments between 0 and 15 degrees at 1-degree increments. The C10 cabinet shares the same width as the C8 (dual 8" array) and CS118 (18" subwoofer) allowing for simple systematic compatibility and minimal adaptation accessories. As with all Clair Brothers products, the C10 is constructed of the finest Baltic birch plywood and finished with a rugged exterior epoxy to withstand the most demanding conditions. The speaker grille is constructed of high-grade, 14-gauge perforated steel, finished with commercial-grade powder coat.
