Second TDS Award for Calibre LEDFusion A160 163" AiO LED Display

For the second year in a row, Calibre UK was recognized for its unrivalled excellence winning the Product Excellence category of the Taiwan Digital Signage Awards (TDS) for the LEDFusion A160, a 163" AiO (All-in-One) LED display. In 2019, the Calibre LEDFusion A130 130" LED Display also won a TDS Award.

The TDS Awards recognize outstanding achievements in digital signage hardware equipment. They are organized by the Taiwan Display Industry Association (TDUA), Taiwan Digital Signage Multimedia Alliance (DSMA Taiwan), and co-organized by the Display Industry Promotion Office (DIPO) of the Industrial Bureau.

Calibre has three displays in their range including the 120" LEDFusion A120 and 130" LEDFusion A130 and the most recent addition, the 163" LEDFusion A160.

Judges of the TDS Awards noted several innovations that make the LEDFusion A160 a true award winner:

The LEDFusion A160 is a 163" all-in-one LED video display that produces 4K picture quality with low latency video processing powered by Calibre HQUltra technology. Calibre achieves an ultra-slim pitch of 1.875, 35mm and detachable 0.9mm frame. For special or events based projects, just two people can install the screen in any location or rotation in under an hour or less. For added creativity, a long-format panoramic screen can be created by seamlessly integrating two LEDFusion A160 displays.

Based on giving the user a smart TV user experience, the Calibre LEDFusion A160 can be used as a smart screen for multimedia playback using Android based OS.

A built-in media center and App gives the user control along with TapCast for wireless sharing and display incorporating Miracast screen mirroring, camera and screen sync to mobile devices and wireless annotation.

For meeting room applications a built-in WPS document reader enables users to upload any images or documents such as Microsoft Excel or PowerPoint or Adobe Acrobat PDFs through the Fusion Connect App located in the Media Center. A simple OSD menu enables adjustment of settings such as brightness, contrast, saturation or color temperature.

Earlier this year, V2 Indonesia supplied the LED Fusion A160 163" and two units of the LEDFusion A130 130" at the presidential palace in Jakarta ("Istana Negara") and the 130" at Bogor Presidential Palace. The G20 Extraordinary Summit was accessed virtually through a live video conference from the Bogor Presidential Palace in Indonesia in early discussions around Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Since its introduction in February 2020, the LEDFusion A160 can be found at the heart of digital signage, retail, corporate meeting rooms, event, front of house, and control installations in the UK, Germany, Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, and Singapore.
