LPM Restaurant & Bar in Miami Upgrades to 1 SOUNDLPM Restaurant & Bar, an upscale French restaurant in Miami, Florida was looking to upgrade to a unique audio system. LPM has additional restaurants in several international locations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, and London. The creativity of the chef, as well as the decor, is exquisite and tastefully done to provide an experience as though you stepped into the south of France. However, there was just one more thing the owner wanted to provide its customers which could elevate this experience even more...quality audio! This would require the audio system to be just as creative and spectacular, to avoid it sounding like background noise. The owner sought out Sound Performance in Coral Gables, FL, known for its history of quality sound systems for commercial venues for over 40 years. After visiting their showroom and experiencing a shootout with 1 SOUND's premium loudspeakers, "they were convinced in five minutes about what they wanted," says Stan Beran (owner, Sound Performance). Part of their request with this install was to have multiple zones of audio. For this design, Cannon C5's were used as a full range system. "The Cannons allowed us to focus the sound by using more speakers to cover the areas, without blasting the sound across the room, but controlling the sound" explains Beran. They used the Cannon C-Clamps to aim the speakers. Part of the appeal of this restaurant is the beautiful ambiance, with its inspirations from the French Riviera and "Belle Epoque." For LPM, it is important to maintain the elegance of the restaurant's environment with sound and style. The owners were delighted when they learned that in addition to the beautiful sounding system it could be LPM's custom colors and received in a 2 week turnaround, the company says. The restaurant was excited to send over the RAL numbers for the colors they preferred for the audio system. For the outside section of the restaurant, they were able to match the Cannon C5's, and its hardware, to the wooden walls. The LPM managerial staff believe 1 SOUND has a direct impact on their business; the controlled sound and sound quality of the Cannons have created a positive shift in their customers' experience.
