PRG GmbH and SHOWTEC Companies Become One

Production Resource Group, L.L.C., (PRG) announced this week that, effective immediately, the corporate structure of PRG in Germany has been simplified and PRG and SHOWTEC are now one company. All SHOWTEC companies (SHOWTEC Beleuchtungs- und Beschallungs GmbH, Balance Audio-Media GmbH & Co. KG, MAS / SHOWTEC Berlin GmbH & Co. KG, VLD Automatisierte Lichtsysteme Vermietungs GmbH) and PRG GmbH have been merged with their parent company Production Resource Group AG.

In connection with the reorganization, management responsibilities have also been changed. As part of his continuing overall European management services and responsibility for PRG in Europe, Stephan Paridaen will provide general management services for Production Resource Group AG in Germany. Carsten Zwerg, a former managing director of PRG GmbH, and Johannes Wahl, both of whom have worked for PRG for many years, will now lead PRG's production department. Ralf Richrath, a former SHOWTEC managing director and co-owner, will be responsible for warehouse/operations and Horst Siefen, who headed VLD within the SHOWTEC Group, will now be responsible for the asset management. Jana Wohlien will oversee the integration management of the PRG companies and Lars Schwarz will be responsible for the finance department.

PRG's operations will be divided into the following market segments: concert touring, corporate and trade show, automotive events, special events, theatre and TV & film. Each segment will be led by an expert with many years of experience in the relevant segment and will be supported by a specialized team of dedicated personnel. The sales and account management will be under the leadership of Udo Willburger, who has worked for PRG more than 20 years.

Morten Carlsson, former managing director of PRG GmbH and founder of the former Procon group, will be responsible for marketing and business development. Wilfried Schiefer, founder and former managing director of SHOWTEC, will contribute his market experience as a consultant to the new company.

In connection with the reorganization, all SHOWTEC companies and PRG GmbH will now operate under the name Production Resource Group AG.
