Full Sail University Specifies Hippotizer Media Servers Full Sail University, the entertainment technology educational institution based in Winter Park, Florida, is adding specialized Green Hippo Hippotizer media server courses to its curriculum. In preparation for the spring semester, the school acquired seven GrassHopper media servers, five ZooKeeper software packages, and one Hippotizer HD for their hands-on show arena. The gear was provided by Seattle's MODE Studios; to prepare for the courses, instructors at the fully-accredited college have undergone immersive Hippotizer training with Mode's Bob Bonniol. "We are thrilled that Full Sail is incorporating media servers, and specifically Hippotizers into their program," says Mode Studios executive producer Colleen Bonniol. "Producing young directors, designers, and programmers who are well-versed in digital media is critical for the academic world to remain relevant to our industry.
