PRG RH+A Group Focuses on Compact Versatility with the Launch of the UV BulletRetail, Hospitality & Architectural (RH+A) group, a division of Production Resource Group, L.L.C. (PRG), introduces the UV Bullet an ultraviolet luminaire for blacklight effects. The UV Bullet addresses the needs of lighting designers and specifiers who want small, focusable UV spotlights for blacklight highlighting. The UV Bullet packs both features and output into a compact form factor, important for the retail and architectural markets as well as for the themed entertainment market. It uses a powerful 365 nanometer UV-A-LED emitter for blacklight effects with minimal visible light. The luminaire, which dims smoothly over the whole output range, draws only 18W yet offers a high output that surpasses much larger UV luminaires that typically use discharge lamps which can't be dimmed. The fixture has an 8:1 focus range zoom -- from a tight 7-degree spot to an extra wide 55-degree flood. The focus mechanism requires no lens change or tools and is lockable for permanent installations. It is ideally suited to illuminate only the desired targets for creating optical illusions and blacklight effects. A range of mounting options are available including a variety of clamps and a floor base, as well as a remote driver box option to accommodate any installation. The UV Bullet easily fits into any lighting plan and can be controlled via DMX or with pre-programmed onboard options including strobe, fade, and manual dimming. A wide range of accessories is also available for the UV Bullet including a barndoor, snoot, and linear spread diffusion. The luminaire meets the rigorous standards for electrical safety including ETL, cETL, and CE listings.
